Latest News Hello Everyone! I have some awesome news for the Convention coming up this Friday! On Saturday, we will have a LIVE communication with Mr. Gary Johnson, one of the creators of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye!!! More than just a simple interview, he has offered to answers a few questions from the fans! So, what do YOU want to know??? Send me your questions at Convention_STFBE@hotmail.com before Feb.20, 12:00 (noon), and Mr. Johnson may have an answer for you!! Please remember that, depending on the number of questions received, Mr. Johnson might not have time to answer all of them. And while he has not mentioned any “off-limit” topics, he may choose not to answer certain questions. Thank you for your understanding!! In three weeks, I’ll be heading for Toronto, for the final details of the Convention… We have some exciting news for you! First of all, we’re now on MySpace and Facebook, so please add us to your profile and maybe you’ll find out that some of your friends would like to come too! We have extended the dead-lines to February 5, but this will be the very last day. Registration is now $90 + PayPal fees, for a total of $93 per person, for the whole weekend. What is included in the registration fees? Admission to all the Convention activities for the weekend. What does that mean??? Well, the Friday night get-together will take place in a restaurant offering an awesome all-you-can-eat buffet and we have negotiated a very good price for you – the buffet will be only $10 for the people who registered for the Convention!! On Sunday morning, a bus will bring us to the Distillery District where many scenes from the show were filmed, and the Deaf Culture Centre will open its doors early for us. The bus will bring us back to the hotel in the afternoon. And don’t forget the activities on Saturday, including games, quizzes and the auction to raise money for the ASL dictionary for children and Hearing Ear Dogs. For those who might need a hotel room, the special rate for the Convention is only valid if you book your room before January 30, so do not hesitate! Hello everyone! Finally, the website is up and running!!! So, now we can officially announce that the Sue Thomas F.B.Eye Fan Convention is coming back for its second edition! Believe me, last year, after everyone had left on Sunday morning, I would have said "Are you crazy? I'm not doing this again!" But after a 12-hour night, I was already analyzing the weekend, trying to see what we could do better for the next edition. So, here it goes, we're coming back, in February this time. February 20-22, 2009, in Toronto, at the Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport. I hope you will join us! Just like last time, registration is mandatory, no walk-in admission will be allowed. Please click here for the registration page. Don't wait too long, the early-bird rate is available only until November 21, 2008! The Four Points has offered us a discounted rate for the Convention, please visit our hotel section for more details. It is still too early to know who will be present, and the exact activities that will take place. As soon as an activity is confirmed, we'll post it on the schedule, but you can already book your Friday night, the whole day Saturday, and morning/early afternoon on Sunday.
